"This is another of the wunderkind hormones that has captured the public imagination. Even people who are not into anti-aging, are popping it for sleeping and jet lag. It is one of the most potent antioxidants yet discovered, an immune booster, ---------, heart helper, ------------, and mood elevator. Greg Fahy, Ph.D., of the Naval Medical Research Institute in Bethesda, Maryland, speculates that growth hormone may hold the key to why melatonin supplements have such a widespread anti-aging effect. "This remains theory," he says, "but the fall in melatonin in the brain triggers puberty. As you go through puberty, your growth hormone levels start to fall.
